An outstanding vintage 1970's dress from couturier to the Queen, Ian Thomas. A former assistant to Norman Hartnell, Thomas launched his own label in 1970, and was awarded a Royal warrant as a dressmaker in 1973.
As you would expect the dress is extremely high quality, with hand finished detailing, and the fabric is a floating silk chiffon, in a vibrant green daisy print. The main body has a printed underlayer, for a double layered effect, and the single chiffon sleeves are almost floor length!!!
