A couture quality vintage 1960's beaded coat and dress, custom made for the original owner to wear to the Shah of Iran's Coronation in the late Sixties! Fabulous gold lattice jacquard fabric, with incredible beading mixing claw set diamantes, gold seed beads and teardrop shaped iridescent beads. Luxe satin lining to the coat, with ornate quilted embroidery (see detail shots). Hand finished hems and dinky fabric covered press studs. Coat and dress have some flaws, please read condition notes before purchasing.
Good condition, Coat has one small rust/brown mark to the back (see close up shot). Coat has three small brown marks to interior lining hem area, and very faint marks to underarm - not visible when worn. Dress I'm including with the coat as could be shortened to a top or taken in, but has scattered pin head brown marks to front bodice and a group of marks to one side seam - shown in bottom close up pic. Sold as seen with no returns.
