An devastatingly sexy vintage 1950's swimsuit, by British label 'Kittiwake". I believe the fabric to be a rib textured stretch nylon of some sort, the texture is identical to grosgrain. Fantastic bodice, with contrast cream piping, and a halter strap neckline, with two buttonholes at each side for adjusting the strap length. Front lined in cream jersey, integral pant under the skirt, and fab chunky 'aero' brand metal zip. Quite possibly the perfect vintage pin up swimsuit!
Very Good condition, immaculate exterior. One 1.5" long section of lining appears to have melted (probably washed at too high a temperature in the past!), not visible when worn, shown in image below. Otherwise amazing condition.
Bust - 30" flat can be stretched up to 32"- Waist - 22/23" flat maximum stretch 24"
- Hips - 30" flat maximum stretch 33"
- Length - 20" excluding straps, from top of bodice to hem.
- Petite fit, to avoid disappointment you need to be on the smaller side of the measurements given above.
- Waist - 22/23" flat maximum stretch 24"
