REF #560 A goddess worthy draped vintage 1940's gown from quality British label Roecliffe & Chapman, described in their advertsing of the time as 'wholesale couturiers'. The bold yellow crepe dress features unusual grey and black flower heads, and stunning draping. The bodice has a draped layer, with intricately gathered straps, and a deep ruched panel across the hips. Full fluid skirts.
Very Good condition, groups of small very faint darker yellow dots near the hem, almost like water splashes. (dress is extremely long so could easily be shortened by several inches or worn as is as marks only visible on very close inspection). A 1cm size repair to the skirt and one pinhead size hole. Couple of tiny hidden repairs hidden in draped hip panel, not visible when worn.
