VINTAGE 1940's BABY PINK SATIN PYJAMA SET

A simply gorgeous vintage 1940's pyjama set, combining a puffed sleeve blouse with fluid 'harem' style pants. In soft baby pink satin, the pyjama top has intricate smocked panels and a monogrammed pocket, I think the initials are S.S. Both the blouse and trousers have early plastic floral buttons.
Very Good condition, the top's waistband elastic has reacted with the satin over time, causing light orange discolouration as shown in the close up pics. Some slight yellow and pink marks to the interior only - like dye variations, not visible when worn. The trouser has the same yellow and darker pink dye variation marks, on the trouser they show through to the exterior faintly on one leg - hard to pick up in photos as faint. Couple of pinhead sized marks like brown age spots to the trouser.
