An exceptional quality vintage 1930's gold lame jacket, with incredible fabric woven with gold hued actual metal thread, and floral motifs in soft shades of lime, yellow and orange. Two huge twisted metal thread gold tassels adorn the front hem and the back neckline. Soft blouson styling with a neck tie that can be loosely knotted, and unusual triangular tabs at the cuffs and front hem. Lined in black silk.
Excellent to very good condition, small repair to lining where later press stud has been added at front hem. Slight tarnishing of the gold fabric behind the back neck tassel (see close up pic), and to one shoulder and cuff edges. Slight tarnishing to the top of the tassel. Wonderful condition for a piece of this age and style.
