A beautiful pair of vintage 1940's evening shoes, in a gorgeous shade of sky blue satin. Labelled 'Windsor fashions', with an intricate wrapped detail to the vamp. Long straps to wrap around your ankles, a slight platform and towering 4" heels for Forties glamour!
Very good vintage condition, slight fading to the blue satin on the ankle straps. The insole is curling very slightly at the edges. Some small scuffs, very small areas of wear, and a couple of pinhead marks to one vamp - see close up photos for reference. Only slight wear to soles.
Insole length - 9.5" maximum- Widest point of insole - 2.75" narrow fitting
- Heel height - 4"
- Approx equivalent to a modern UK 4 or 4 1/2 - but please check actual measurements against a pair of your own shoes of a similar style before purchasing, as vintage fits can be narrower than modern ones.
