The cream fabric base is literally encrusted with translucent, iridescent sequins, topped with trailing pearlised seed bead floral motifs, with faux pearl centres! 		VINTAGE 1960's FLORAL BEADED EVENING COAT PRICE £105 REF #493 A fabulous vintage 1960's Hong Kong made evening coat, labelled Cerimode. On a 100% wool base, with slight stretch, the coat is completely covered in translucent, iridescent sequins and pearlised seed bead flowers, with faux pearl centres. 		VINTAGE 1970's IAN THOMAS SILK CHIFFON DRESS PRICE £150 REF #486 An outstanding vintage 1970's dress from couturier to the Queen, Ian Thomas. A former assistant to Norman Hartnell, Thomas launched his own label in 1970, and was awarded a Royal warrant as a dressmaker in 1973. As you would expect the dress is extremely high quality, with hand finished detailing, and the fabric is a floating silk chiffon, in a vibrant green daisy print. 		VINTAGE 1980's BRUCE OLDFIELD EVENING DRESS PRICE £225 REF #435 The perfect little black cocktail dress from British designer Bruce Oldfield, dating from the 1980's. The jersey crepe skirts are fluid, in contrast to the sheer organza slightly batwing sleeves. The highlight is the shimmering sequinned bodice, topped off with eye popping faceted glass floral trims. 		VINTAGE 1970's JEAN VARON GRAPHIC PRINT DRESS PRICE £95 REF #488 A fabulous vintage 1970's dress from Brit designer John Bates, who created the 'Jean Varon' label. John Bates famously designed costumes for the first season of the Avengers, featuring Emma Peel. The dress has a bold graphic print, with huge voluminous sleeves and empire line styling. A couture quality vintage 1960's beaded coat and dress, custom made for the original owner to wear to the Shah of Iran's Coronation in the late Sixties! Fabulous gold lattice jacquard fabric, with incredible beading mixing claw set diamantes, gold seed beads and teardrop shaped iridescent beads. Luxe satin lining to the coat, with ornate quilted embroidery (see detail shots). Hand finished hems and dinky fabric covered press studs. Coat and dress have some flaws, please read condition notes before purchasing.

An iconic vintage jersey mini dress from desirable label Louis Feraud. Louis Feraud's (1920-1999) fashion career started when he opened his first boutique in Cannes, France, in 1955. Brigitte Bardot bought one of his dresses, and the attention this brought to the store helped to establish his name.
This dress is an a high shine 'Banlon' branded jersey, and extremely sexy! The fabulous graphic print mixes hot pink, vibrant blue and red. The print is signed Louis Feraud.

A fabulously chic vintage 1960's dress from British couturier Hardy Amies. The legendary designer started his career at Lachasse in 1934, setting up his own couture house in 1946, adding ready to wear in 1950. He was appointed Royal Dressmaker in 1955.

This dress is beautifully tailored, in a structured wool mix (I believe) cloth, trimmed with sleek grosgrain ribbon.

The dress is literally encrusted with mother of pearl coloured sequins. Broad contrasting bands on the sleeves and neckline mix yellow faux pearls, claw set diamantes and bright yellow 3D flower heads created with sequins!! A chic vintage 1960's suit from British Couturier and designer to Queen Elizabeth Hardy Amies, from his ready to wear label. In a wonderful abstract print mixing inky blue, caramel and cream, I believe the fabric is silk, but can't be 100%. Belted in on my size 8 mannequin, the jacket can be worn boxier if wished. Also labelled Maude Jackson, the store where the suit would have retailed originally. Spring weight lightweight fabric and construction, perfect for this time of year.

An elegant vintage 1960's watercolour floral chiffon gown, in shades of orange. Not a Pierre Balmain couture gown, but a dress made up by a 60's seamstress from a Pierre Balmain S/S 1965 pattern, which came with the 'Patron' label ready to attach to the completed garment. However, a great dress if you want the designer styling, without the huge price tag! Softly ruched bodice, gorgeous trailing back panel and two dinky bows to the side of the panel.
